Salary:
Rehearsal Salary: $680/week
Performance Salary: $700 – $1,000/week
Lead Salary $1,000 – $1,300/week
Travel & Housing:
Tour rehearses in Springfield, OH.
Producers will provide travel and housing while rehearsing and on tour.
Optional health insurance coverage starting with the first full month of employment.
A weekly expense reimbursement of $504/week with the election of double occupancy housing; $301/week with the election of single occupancy housing; & a range between $800 - $1071/week with the election of no producer provided housing.
Must be able to work in the US, Canada & Mexico. Must have current passport by first day of rehearsal with a valid expiration date at least 6 months following the contract completion date.

[DOROTHY] Female identifying character, 18+ to play a 16-year-old teenager, Black. Feels like she doesn’t belong and is searching for where she fits. A seeker with a big heart and the capacity to be braver than she thinks, who ultimately finds “home” within herself. Must have a powerful, soulful belt.
[AUNT EM/EVILLINE] Female identifying character, 30s, Black. AUNT EM: A loving soul, determined to help Dorothy find her place in the world. EVILLINE: The Wicked Witch of the West. Rules Oz with fear and control. A big personality—both evil and fierce. Cunning and ruthless, but with style. The original diva. Strong R&B/gospel belt.
[SCARECROW] Male identifying character, 20s, Black. Dorothy’s first true friend on her journey, he is big-hearted, fiercely protective, and becomes her constant companion. Must dance exceptionally well. Strong R&B/gospel belt.
[TIN MAN] Male identifying character, 20s, Black. Deeply curious and clever and comedic, a natural leader in the group. Though seeking a heart, he already has enormous compassion and helps guide Dorothy along the way. Strong R&B/gospel belt.
[LION] Male identifying character, 20s, Black. An empathic, kind soul who masks his insecurity with bravado, and finds courage through Dorothy. Strong R&B/gospel belt.
[THE WIZ] Male identifying character, 40s, Black. The great and powerful ruler of Oz. The ultimate con artist. A smooth double talker with incredible charm and a larger-than-life presence. Strong R&B/gospel belt.
[GLINDA] Female identifying character, 30s, Black. The Good Witch of the South. A guiding, protective, and encouraging presence. Your favorite Auntie. Strong R&B/gospel belt.
[ADDAPERLE/ENSEMBLE] Female identifying character, 30s, Black. The Good Witch of the North. Clever, all knowing, and full of personality. Must have comedic timing. This is a featured ensemble role. Strong R&B/gospel belt.
